Platform Access and Pricing:

Community Membership Access: TheFinAdvisor grants free access to all community members. Standard functionalities available include community Feeds, communities landing page, member, settings, and the ability to post videos, photos, texts, and gifts.

Community Ownership Fees: The ownership and management of both Public and Private communities incur a monthly fee of $2, plus applicable VAT (if applicable), billed annually.

Platform Usage Fees:

Membership Configuration: Creators managing private communities may establish membership tiers to offer exclusive content. The platform fee, representing usage of TheFinAdvisor’s services, is calculated as a percentage of the successfully processed membership or commerce payments, excluding sales tax. The established platform fee is 2% of these payments.

Sales Tax/VAT

Compliance with legal standards necessitates the addition of sales tax or VAT to certain membership payments.

Currency Conversion Fees

A conversion fee of 2.5% is applied to all transactions (inclusive of sales tax) conducted in currencies other than your designated payout currency.

For creators receiving payments in currencies other than USD, the processing rates applied to your transactions remain unaffected by the payment methods chosen by your members. This uniform approach ensures clarity and consistency in processing fees across different currencies.

App Store Transaction Fee Policy

This section outlines the financial obligations associated with product purchases conducted through TheFinAdvisor’s iOS application, specifically addressing the fees imposed by Apple Inc. for transactions processed via their in-app payment system.

Fee Structure for iOS Application Transactions

Apple Inc. levies a fee amounting to 30% of the sale price for all products acquired by consumers through TheFinAdvisor’s iOS application. This charge is directly attributed to Apple’s in-app payment processing services.

TheFinAdvisor’s Fee Policy on iOS Transactions

It is important to note that TheFinAdvisor does not impose additional payment processing fees for transactions executed on the iOS platform. The entirety of the transaction fee is mandated by and transferred to Apple Inc. as part of their standard in-app purchase fee structure.

Creators and community members utilizing TheFinAdvisor’s iOS application are advised to consider this cost when setting product prices and conducting transactions within the application. Currency conversion fees

TheFinAdvisor implements a currency conversion fee of 2.5% for all membership payments transacted in a currency differing from the designated payout currency. In the event of a refund to a paid member, this fee will be correspondingly reversed. All applicable fees will be denominated and displayed in your designated payout currency. Detailed information regarding currency conversion fees, alongside processing fees, is available within the ‘Payment fees’ section of your Earnings dashboard. Exchange Rate Application

Payment distributions to creators are conducted in the designated payout currency, calculated using the average exchange rate prevailing on the day preceding the successful payment processing. This exchange rate mechanism is commonly referred to as the “spot rate.”

Automatic Currency Conversion

TheFinAdvisor, where supported and deemed appropriate, undertakes the automatic conversion of prices for offerings and memberships into the local currency of the community member. This conversion employs a currency conversion rate determined at TheFinAdvisor’s discretion.

Absence of Conversion Fees under Certain Conditions

It is noteworthy that when a paid member remits payment in the same currency as your payout currency, no currency conversion fee is levied.

Tax Implications on Fees

TheFinAdvisor may be subject to sales tax and VAT obligations pertaining to the service fees charged to creators, contingent upon the tax laws and regulations within the creator’s jurisdiction. Creators are advised to acquaint themselves with their local tax obligations as they relate to the fees incurred on TheFinAdvisor’s platform.
